அன்பென்று கொட்டு முரசே!

உலகத்தையே ஆட்டிப்படைக்கக்கூடிய ஆயுதம் என்ற ஒன்று உண்டு என்றால் அது “அன்பு” தான்! அதைத்தன்வசம் வைத்திருக்கும் மனிதர்களைப்பலவீனமாக கருதும் ஒரு பிரிவு தான் உண்மையில் பலவீனமானவர்கள் என்ற கருத்தை முதலில் பதிவு செய்து இந்தக் களம் கண்டு தீட்டுகிறேன்.

நம் வீட்டிலிருந்தே தொடங்குவோம். உங்கள் மழலை செல்வங்களை நீங்கள் எப்படி வழி நடத்துகிறீர்கள்? அவர்கள் இந்த ப்ரபஞ்சத்தைப்பார்க்கும் பார்வை உங்களிடமே தொடங்குகிறது என்பதை நினைவில் கொள்ளுங்கள். நீங்கள் பேசும் ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தையும் அவர்களின் மனதில் பதிவாகிறது. நீங்கள் செய்யும் செயல்கள் அனைத்தும் அவர்களுக்கு சரியாகவே தோன்றும். நீங்கள் எதில் நேரத்தைச்செலவிடுகிறீர்களோ, அதிலேயே நேரத்தைச்செலவிட அவர்களும் விரும்புவார்கள். மொத்தத்தில் உங்களின் பிம்பமாகவே அவர்கள் வளர்வது உங்களுக்கு தெரிகிறதா?
குழந்தைகள் முன்னே ஒரு பொருள் உன்னது, என்னது என்று பேசுவதைத்தவிருங்கள். இங்கிருந்து தான் பல நினைவலைகள், தவறான சிந்தனைகள் உருவாகின்றது! எந்த ஒரு பொருளும் நாம் உபயோகப்படுத்துவதற்காக தான். ஆதலால், இந்த பொருள் நாம் “உபயோகப்படுத்துவதற்காக தான்” என்று கூறிப்பழகுங்கள்
வாழ்வின் உறவுகள் மட்டுமே நம்முடையது!!! நமக்கு மட்டுமே!!! அதனால் தான் அதனை நம் “சொந்தம்” என்று சொல்கிறோம்!!!
குழந்தைகளை அதட்டாதீர்கள், அடிக்காதீர்கள்… அதை அப்படியே உங்களுக்கு அது செய்து காட்டிவிடும் பெரியோர் நிறைந்த சபையில்!!! உங்கள் வளர்ப்பு ஒரு நொடியில் வெளிச்சம் ஏறிவிடும், கவனமாக இருங்கள்!!! கனிவு, பணிவு, துணிவு, கருணை….இவை அனைத்தையும் கற்றுக்கொடுங்கள், வெறும் வார்த்தைகளால் அல்ல! அன்பு கலந்த உங்கள் செயல்களின் மூலம்!!!
இங்கே அன்பின் பலம் நம் வீட்டு சமுதாயத்தில் பெரும் பங்கினை வகிக்கிறது என்பதை உணர்கிறீர்களா?

நம் அடுத்த இலக்கு, அலுவலகம். இது பலவிதமான மக்கள் ஒன்று கூடி உழைத்து முன்னேறும் ஒரு தளம். இந்தத்தளத்தில் முன்னேற்றம் மட்டுமே இலக்கு என்று பயனப்படுவோர் ஏராளம். இதைக்குறை கூறுவதற்கில்லை ஏனெனில் காலத்தின் கட்டாயம் அப்படி!!! காலத்தை குறை கூறுவது தானே மனித இயல்பாகி விட்டது! இங்கேயும் அப்படியே! முன்னேற்றத்தைத்தனி ஒரு மனிதனாக நாம் செய்துவிடுவது சாத்தியமல்ல! நாம் முன்னேறிவிட்டோம் என்று நமக்கு தெரிவிப்பதர்க்குக்கூட நமக்கு ஒருவன் தேவைப்படுகிறான். அப்படி இருக்க, நம் முன்னேற்றத்திற்கான பாதை அமைத்தவன், தோள் கொடுத்தவன், சரியும் முன்னர் சாய்ந்து பிடித்தவன், இப்படிப் பலர் இருக்கிறார்கள். … இவர்களின் முன்னேற்றத்தில் நமது பங்கு என்ன? அனைவரையும் மறந்து ஓடும் ஓட்டத்தில் நாட்டம் உடையவரா நீங்கள்? இல்லை, பங்கு என்ன என்று சிந்திக்கும் சிந்தனை செல்வம் உங்களுக்குள் கிடக்கிறதா? அந்தச்சிந்தனையே அன்பின் அடையாளம் என்று நான் கூறுவேன்!!! ஒரு குழந்தைக்கு எப்படி வீட்டினில் தாயும், தந்தையும் முன்னோடிகளோ, அப்படியே ஒரு அலுவலகத்தில் முதலாளி, மற்ற தொழிலாளிகளுக்கு முன்னோடியாகத்திகழ்கிறார்… ஒரு மேலாளர் தன் மக்களை எப்படி வழி நடத்துகிறாரோ, அதன் வழியே மக்கள் செல்ல நேற்படுகிறது… காலை வந்து கடிந்து கொள்வதன் மூலம், மாலை மங்கும் வரை மறையாத சோகம் சூழ்ந்து காணப்படும்!!! உங்கள் மீது பயம் ஏற்படும் அளவுக்கு நடந்து கொள்ளாதீர்கள், மரியாதை ஏற்படும் அளவுக்கு நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்…மக்களை அன்பு வழி நடத்தும் பக்குவத்தை ஒருவர் பெறும்போது தான் அவர் அனைவருக்கும் மேலாளர் ஆகிறார், மக்கள் அவரை ஒரு முன்னோடியாக கருதுவர், ஒன்று கூடி செயல் படும் திறன் அதிகரிக்கும், ஒருவர் மற்றவரை போற்றும் கலாசாரம் பெருகும், அங்கே ஒரு சமநிலை உருவாகும்.. அனைவருக்கும் நம்பிக்கை என்னும் சக்தி பிறக்கும்!!! இங்கேயும் சிறந்த சமுகத்தை உருவாக்கும் விதையாக அன்பு தான் இருந்திருக்கிறது!!! அலுவலகத்தில் அன்பை விதைத்துப்பாருங்கள்..அன்பிற்சிறந்த ஆலமரம் வேறில்லை…உங்களுக்கு பலம் சேர்க்கும் விழுதுகளாய் மக்களை உருவாக்குங்கள், பாசம் என்னும் நீர் ஊற்றி! ஒவ்வொரு விழுதும் ஒரு ஆலமரம், அன்பின் தோட்டத்தில்!!!

நிறைவாக சமுதாயம்… நம்மில் பலரின் அன்பை பரீட்சை செய்துவிடும் இந்த சமுதாயம்… ஏனெனில் சமுதாயம் என்னும் பெரும்வட்டத்தில் நாம் அனைவரும் ஒரு புள்ளியே, சில பெரும் புள்ளிகளைத்தவிர!!! இதை விளக்கி கூற வேண்டிய அவசியமில்லை, இந்தச் சோதனை நிறைந்த களத்தில் தான் சிலர் அன்பின் வழியில் தனக்கென ஒரு பாதை அமைத்து, தனக்கென ஒரு “சமயத்தை” உருவாக்கி உள்ளனர் என்று அனைவருக்கும் தெரிந்த ஒன்றே!!!!! அன்பானவர்களைப்பார்த்தீர்களானால் அவர்கள் முகத்தில் எப்போதும் ஒரு புன்முறுவல் பூத்திருக்கும். அவர்கள் உதட்டின் வழியே தூய வார்த்தைகள் மட்டுமே வெளிப்படும். அவர்களின் கண் பொய் பேசாது. அவர்களின் மனம் நல்லதையே நாடும். உள்ளொன்று வைத்துப்புரம் ஒன்று பேசும் வித்தை எல்லாம் தெரியாது. மொத்தத்தில் பாரதியின் வரியில் சொல்லவேண்டும் என்றால் “நேர்பட பேசு”ம் நல்மனிதர்கள்!!!
“அனைவரிடத்திலும் அன்பு காட்டுங்கள்” என்றார் ஏசுபிரான். “அனைத்து ஜீவராசிகளிடத்தும் அன்பு கூறுங்கள்” என்றார் சித்தார்த்தன் எனும் புத்தபிரான். “பகைவருக்கும் அன்பு அருளினான்” ராமபிரான். “அன்பென்று கொட்டு முரசே” என்றான் அமரகவி பாரதி.
இவர்கள் வாழ்ந்து காட்டிய உதாரணங்கள்…

இனியாவது சில்லரைத்தனமாய், சிடுமூஞ்சித்தனமாய், சிதைந்து போகாமல்…, சாதிக்கபுறப்படுங்கள் இன்முகம் கொண்டு, அன்பென்னும் ஆயுதம் கொண்டு!!!

நாளைய உலகம் கூறட்டும் பலம் எது, பலவீனம் எது என்று!!!

Roger - So near, yet so far!!!

Yet another bright and sunny day @ the Wimbledon.   July 06, 2014 witnessed one of the greatest Wimbledon finals between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic @ the center court.   Any five setters would always be a nail biting contest as it opens up the door of opportunity to grab the “Ultimate” in a blink!  An unforced error or a gigantic serve can seal the fate of an epic contest!  This match was no different.  Federer tried his heart out to lift the Trophy one more time to go past the legend, Pete Sampras’s record of 7 Wimbledon titles.   But, Djokovic was determined enough to stop him and kiss the trophy for the second time and to his luck (with Federer’s big heart to let Novak win as Novak rightly mentioned during post match presentation), Pendulum swung in his favor as the see-saw battle tested even the steel nerves of many!!!

There is not much difference when you see the match statistics… Top aces against backhand baseline precision, serve and volley against lofted volley, quality smashes against forehand passing, class against stamina and last but not the least, the gigantic career of Federer against the rising one of Djokovic!!!

For Roger, it was a comeback.  His determination even at the age of 32, worth a mention!!! His Will to play fire with fire had literally seen the Wimbledon grass burnt along the baseline.   A match that witnessed quite a few long volleys with the precision touch of Roger on each passing shot!  I am sure it would have given him the confidence to come back much stronger…. Only the stamina, legs & appetite of Novak can get near to those! With Edberg as his coach, his game of serve and volley with a deft touch has Edberg’s coaching manual written all over it!  Ofcourse, we can’t take away Federer’s master class… He is a Master in his own right!!!

Now the Champion… Novak is undoubtedly the emerging champion of Grass!  Though he may not have that powerful forehand with angle that Nadal creates or the backhand whipping elegance of Roger, Novak has the greatest return of Serves in the Game… that puts him right at the top!!!  Almost in all the big games, he thrives on that advantage of his wonderful service return… To me, that was like a knock-out punch!  With that, he can break the confidence of even a Master of Aces like Goran Ivanisevic!!!  He does it, so natural!! To me, Novak has all the time in the World to catch up with Federer and of course, he is riding high and has got that Talent!!!

25 years passed by… but, the epic story continues!  Those days it was the dodgy determination of Becker vs. the sheer flair of Edberg.  Every time Becker loses to Edberg, I would go down on my knees with moist eyes and cry the whole night.  He inflicted that pain of losing amidst trying hard!!!  Becker was undoubtedly, My Hero those days!   May be coz’ I Loved the way he prepares to Serve (like a dancing baby!), runs hard in to the net,  throws himself over the ball, rolls at least a few times on the court…. My showman, “dirty Hero” on the court!!!

Who can imagine 2014 can witness the same Edberg and Becker but, this time playing the role of Coach fighting it out? I am a big fan of Roger… but, a bigger fan of my Hero, Boris…. When Boris trains someone and that some one lifts the trophy in Wimbledon against Stefan’s Roger, it is by far the greatest achievement of Novak you may think!!!  Yes, Novak did it.  The executor!!! But, carve my Hero’s name as well who was the mastermind behind that execution. Though Djokovic didn’t specifically mention Becker in the post-match presentation, everyone knows the value of Boris…that is to me, “Invaluable”. 

“The Invaluable message of not to lose your heart and try hard until you succeed!!!”

I consider this as Becker’s Revenge!!!  Revenge, I was eagerly waiting for 25 years!!!  

My son cried for Roger tonight… Who knows!!!  He needs that Will and Patience to wait for another 25 years to see Roger’s revenge!!!

Worth waiting, my son!!!  History repeats!!!

இந்தத்தலைமுறை வேகம் நிறைந்தது….!!!

இந்தத்தலைமுறை வேகம் நிறைந்தது…. அதன் மூலம் அது இழந்தது என்ன என்று எப்போதாவது நீங்கள் யோசித்துபார்த்ததுண்டா?

நான் சிறு வயதில் செங்கோட்டை செல்லும் ரயில் வண்டியில் கும்பகோணம் செல்லும் போது, அதன் அழகை ரசித்திருக்கிறேன்….அது சென்னையிலிருந்து கும்பகோணம் செல்வதற்கு பத்து, பன்னிரண்டு மணி நேரங்கள் ஆகும்… அனைத்து நிறுத்தங்களிலும் ஓரிரு மணித்துளிகள் நின்று செல்லும். ஒவ்வொரு ஊரின் அழகை, வெளித்தோற்றத்தை அந்த நிறுத்தத்தின் போது நீங்கள் கண்டு களிக்கலாம். ஆலமரம் நிறைந்து காணப்படும் நம் பூமி, நமது விசாலமான மனதைக்காட்டுவதாய் நினைத்துக்கொள்வேன். சுமந்து செல்லும் போர்ட்டர்களை காணும் போது நம் உழைப்பு தான் நமக்கு சோறுபோடும் என்பதை உணர்வேன். அங்கே விற்கப்படும் பலா சுளைகள், நம் வாழ்வின் இனிமையை எடுத்துக்காட்டும் துண்டுகளை உணர்வேன். வண்டி புறப்பட எழுப்பும் மணியின் ஓசை, ஒரு ரீங்காரம்!!! அது நமது கலாச்சாரத்தின் பிரதிபலிப்பு!!!

இவை அனைத்தும் இன்று சாத்தியமா? காலம் நகர்வதை ரசித்த நாம், இன்று காலம் தொலைகிறது என்ற கவலையால், நம் வாழ்கையை துரிதப்படுத்தும் நோக்கத்தில் தொலைத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறோம்!!!
இன்று என் மகன் விரைவு வண்டியின் குளிர் பெட்டியில், வெளியே ஒளியின் சிதரலினிடயில் சிலிர்த்து கிடக்கும் நாணலின் அழகைக்கூட ரசிக்கும் திறன் இழந்து கும்பகோணம் அடைகிறான் வேகமாக, அதி வேகமாக!!! ஒரு கைபேசி இருந்தால் போதும் அவனுக்கு!!!

“உலகம் உங்கள் கையில் அடக்கம் என்று சொன்னவன், அதன் அழகை சொல்ல மறந்தான் போலும்!!!”

“அவன் அவன் காலம் தொலைந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறது என்ற கவலையில் சுழன்றுகொண்டிருக்கும் போது, இந்த தலைமுறை தரம்குறைந்த “சினிமா எல்லாம் ஒரு பொழுது போக்கு” என்று சொல்வதைக்கேட்கும்போதே எனக்கு வயிற்றுப்போக்கு உண்டாகிறது!!! நான் சினிமாவுக்கு எதிரியல்ல…. நல்ல சினிமாவை நான் என்றும் வரவேற்கிறேன்… இந்த தலைமுறை நம் சினிமா சரித்திரம் தெரியாமல் சிவாஜி கணேசன் எல்லாம் ஓவர்-அக்டிங் (over-acting), குடும்ப படங்கள் எல்லாம் போர் (Bore) என்று சொல்லும்போது என் இதயம் வெடித்துச்சிதறுகிறது!!! நான் கேட்கிறேன் அவர்களின் மொழியில், “Why this Kolaveri?”…. தனுஷ் “Kolaveri” ரசனை தவறில்லை, ஆனால் நீங்கள் சிவாஜி-யை ரசிக்காவிட்டாலும், குறைகூறாதீர்கள்!!!
"விதை இல்லாமல், விழுதுகள் இல்லை என்பதை நினைவில் கொள்ளுங்கள் அன்பு மணிகளே!!!"

இது எனக்கு அச்சத்தைத்தருகிறது…. இனி வரும் தலைமுறை வாழ்கையை தொலைத்து விடுமோ என்ற அச்சத்தை!!! ஆதலால் இந்த தலைமுறை வாழ்கையைத்தொலைக்காத வேகம் கொண்டு, தனக்குள் ரசனை வளர்த்துக்கொள்ள தங்களின் பங்கு என்ன என்பதை அறிந்து செயல்பட வேண்டுகிறேன்!!!
Microsoft Windows தெரிந்து கொள்வதில் தவறு இல்லை, ஆனால் உங்கள் வீட்டின் ஜன்னலின் அழகை ரசிக்க முதலில் கற்றுகொள்ளுங்கள்…
Angry Birds தவறில்லை, வீட்டினருகே “ஒரு பறவையும் இல்லையே, அதன் ஓசை கேட்கவில்லையே, எங்கே சென்றது இவை எல்லாம் நம் இனப்பெருக்கத்தினால்!!!” என்று சிந்திக்க முயற்சிசெய்யுங்கள்!!!
E-mail தவறில்லை, ஆனால் ஒரு முறையாவது உங்கள் அன்பு நண்பருக்கோ, அன்பு தங்கைக்கோ, அன்பு உறவினருக்கோ தபால் கடிதம் எழுதி அனுப்பிப் பாருங்கள்!!!
முகம் தெரியாத மக்களெல்லாம் நண்பர்கள் என்பது ஒரு அவலம், அதுவும் முகப்புத்தகத்தில் (Facebook)!!! அவர்களுக்காக மணிக்கணக்கில் பொழுதை வீண் செய்வதைத்தவிர்த்து, ஒரு சில மணித்துளிகள் உண்மையான நட்பு பாராட்டி, அவர்களை வீட்டிற்க்கு அழைத்து அவர்களுக்கு விருந்தோம்பல் செய்து தான் பாருங்களேன்!!! “விருந்தோம்பல் என்றால் என்ன” என்று கேட்கிறீர்களா? உங்கள் வீட்டு பெரியவர்களிடன் கேட்டு தெளியுங்கள்!!!

“உங்களால் முடியும், பாச மலர்களே!!”

“ஒரு பட்டாம்பூச்சியை ரசிக்க நீங்கள் பூங்காவுக்குத்தான் செல்லவேண்டும்… அதற்கு முதலில் நீங்கள் பூங்கா செல்லும் மனநிலையை வளர்க்க வேண்டும்”

Even  I am astonished about letter written by Bharathi to his friend in my early mail, see on those days how  the people lived.

They fought for our independence by selling their property for the benefit of others by starting up a newspaper “Amritham”  and try to seed the independence drive to public.

Here every one has to note, by doing this neither Bharathi nor Varadarasan got the benefit.

They themselves-know it is non-profitable investment in terms of MONEY. But they did it with selfless  and that’s why people are still remembering him even today and in future. But see now a days, we are all been selfish for some reason and don’t know what we will achieve.

As a group why don’t  we take an oath and  try to thrash out this evil from our sole by start up with by doing some bits & pieces of contribution to the society in any means. (motto is benefit of others)

Amavasya

Amavasya (अमावस्या) means New Moon night in Sanskrit language when there is no moon at night. The word Amavasya is common to almost all Indian languages as most of them are derived from Sanskrit.

Meaning of Amavasya:

In Sanskrit, "Ama" means "together" and "vasya' means "to dwell" or "cohabit".

The new moon day (all 9 hours and not just the night) is called Amavasya (अमावस्या). The Hindu calendar is a lunar calendar. In most parts of the Indian subcontinent, the Hindu lunar month always starts on the day following the Full Moon or Purnima and therefore Amavasya always falls in the middle of Hindu lunar calendar. However, in some parts of the Indian subcontinent, the Hindu calendar month starts on the day after the new moon or Amavasya and therefore Amavasya is the last day of the lunar month in those places. Many festivals, the most famous being Diwali (the festival of lights), are observed on Amavasya.

Many Hindus fast on Amavasya.

Amavasya Somavati:  An Amavasya falling on a Monday has a special significance in Hindu Religion. It is believed that a fast on this particular Amavasya would ward off widow-hood in women and to ensure Progeny. It is also believed that all desires could be fulfilled if one fasts on such an Amavasya.

Worship of Forefathers (Pitra):  Every month, the new-moon day is considered auspicious for the worship of forefathers and poojas are made. However, no travel ought to be scheduled the first day of the new moon. Religious people are supposed to not work and concentrate on the rites function on Amavasyas. Even today traditional workers like masons do not work on Amavasyas in India. However they will work on Saturdays and Sundays. Amavasya was traditionally monthly off day. The Amavasya function is usually done in the afternoon at home (hence travel and daily work are postponed). Even High Court judges of 18th century in India used to observe Amavasya as off day. It was the British Rule that brought Sunday off principle to Indian industry.

On Amavasyas Shraadh is done to forefathers by Brahmins whose father has died earlier. Nowadays a short 20-minute version of the ceremony is done—offering black sesame and water as oblation to departed souls. This oblation is offered to father, grand father and great grand father - 3 levels. Then to mother, grandmother and great grandmother—3 levels. Similarly this is done to mother's side of the family also. If one of these persons are still alive, their name is skipped and the corresponding earlier generation person is offered oblation. Then a final oblation is offered to those anonymous souls which died and have nobody in their lineage offering oblation. These oblations are believed to give birth to good children without mental or physical challenges (so say the prayers in this function).

The dark fortnight of Aswayuja (September–October) is known as the Pitru Paksha (Mahalaya) or the fortnight specially sacred for offering oblations to the departed ancestors. The last day of this period, the new moon day, called mahalaya amavasya, is considered as the most important day in the year for performing obsequies and rites. The manes return to their abode on the evening of Deepavali. Due to the grace of the Yama, it has been ordained that offerings made during this period benefit all the departed souls, whether they are connected to you or not.
